One of Manta’s managed yachts had a close encounter with a refugees’ skiff off the coast of Alicante last week.
Thanks to regular drills conducted onboard, the crew handled the situation calmly, efficiently and in a professional manner, and we commend them for doing a fantastic job!
Upon contact with MRCC Valencia, a rescue helicopter and boat promptly arrived on-scene, collecting the refugees and ensuring everyone’s safety.
